The Alliance Evangelical Divinity School evaluates applicants based upon their Christian character, academic achievement, and Church affiliation. The School desires to have the finest Christians, with a strong faith in Jesus Christ in training for Christian service. Even though deficiencies in character may be corrected through the influence of attending the School, it is better for this to be done before enrolling lest there be problems for the School or to the students entrusted to it.

Applications for applicants wishing to take a course for credit but who do not plan to pursue one of the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School’s degree programs, will be considered for admission when the following items have been received:

ADMISSION CLASSIFICATIONS
- Matriculated (degree) students are those who are pursuing a degree either full or part time.
- Non-matriculated (non-degree) students are those who are not currently pursuing a degree at the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School. They may be full or part time students.
- Auditors are those who are taking courses but will not receive credit. These students may or may not meet all entrance requirements.
- Transfer students are students transferring from recognized Bible colleges or seminaries who may be given transfer credits if comparable courses are included in the curricula of the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School.
- Visiting students are those matriculated in a degree program in another Bible college or seminary who intend to enroll in courses at the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School in order to complete their degree at that institution.
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Application for degree programs will be considered when the following items have been received:
- A completed admission application form;
- A check or money order for the non-refundable fee of $30.00 USD;
- A carefully composed personal statement describing the applicant’s Christian experience, his/her calling and why he/she is applying to the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School;
- Official transcript(s) sent directly to the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School from each educational institution the applicant has attended after high school;
- Two references mailed directly to the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School from qualified persons who know the applicant well. One of the recommendation submitted must be from the applicant’s pastor at the local Church or supervisor at the District;
- A recent headshot photograph of the applicant.

Auditors will be considered when the following items have been received:
- A short application form;
- A check or money order for the registration fee of $50.00 USD. This fee will be credited toward the cost of tuition;
In addition to meeting the general and specific admission requirements, applicants from outside the United States who do not hold a U.S. Passport must submit a letter of financial support or personal guarantee of payment. This will allow the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School to issue the I-20 necessary to study in the U.S.
