MISS 230 World Missions (3)
An introduction to the biblical-theological foundation, the historical development, cross-cultural dimension and anthropological perspective of contemporary world missions. Attention is given to recent developments in Church-mission strategy and to future projection.

MISS 250 History of Missions (3)
A study of some of the major missiological paradigms throughout the history of the global expansion of the Church, with special emphasis upon the modern Protestant missionary movement. Both continuity with Christian mission from biblical and apostolic times and diversity according to historical circumstance are stressed.

MISS 270 Biblical Theology of Missions (3)
An examination of the nature and methodology of theology, the effects of culture, ethnicity, and intercultural differences on the theological process and the development of a globally informed biblical theology.

MISS 310/610 Church Growth (3)
An examination of the basic principles of different Church growth theories, including people movements, homogeneous units, resistant and receptive peoples.

MISS 320/620 World Religions (3)
Historical survey of the origin and growth of the major religions, beliefs, practices, and worldviews of the major traditions will be examined, with special attention given to comparison and contrast with Christian beliefs and practices.

MISS 350/650 Spiritual Warfare (3)
An examination of the spiritual warfare people of God face in Christian ministry. Attention is given to studies in biblical, historical and contemporary perspectives of spiritual conflict.

MISS 370/670 Cults (3)
A study of the distinctive features of the cults of America with their significance in the development of religious thought and with particular reference to their treatment of the central features of orthodox Christian doctrine.
