MASTER OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (M.C.Min)
The Master of Christian Ministry program is offered in two tracks (Vietnamese and English) as follows:
MASTER OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (English)
Objectives
In the Master of Christian Ministry Program students are equipped with a basic knowledge of Bible, Theology, and Ministry to take part in various ministries in the Church. The curriculum designates specific courses, yet is broad enough to provide the basic insights necessary for participation in both the thought and life of the Church. This program is designed for university graduates who have a desire to pursue special training to serve the Lord with the young Vietnamese English-speaking generation in the United States and overseas.
Admission Requirements
All applicants who want to enroll in the Master of Christian Ministry program must meet all of the following requirements:
• Member in good standing at a local evangelical Church;
• Baccalaureate degree or its equivalent;
• Commitment to Christian ministry;
• Proficiency in English;
• Two references from Church leaders/pastors.
Graduation Requirements
The Master of Christian Ministry degree will be granted to the student who has satisfactorily completed at least 48 units of Bible, Theology, and Ministry as described in the curriculum and who maintains at least a 2.5 GPA. In addition, the student must write a ministry project (50-80 pages) with a prior approval by his/her advisor. This program must be completed within 5 years.
Transfer Policy
Up to three courses or 9 units of graduate studies are transferable to the program. The content of transfer courses must be compatible with that of courses offered at the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School.
