BACHELOR OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (B.C.Min)

Objective
The purpose of the Bachelor of Christian Ministry (B.C.Min) program, which is more ministry-oriented than the Bachelor of Theology program, is to equip its graduates with a basic knowledge of Bible, Theology, and Ministry so that they are able to serve the Lord as pastors, Christian educators in local Churches or to pursue further study in seminaries.

Admission Requirements
All applications who want to enroll in the Bachelor of Christian Ministry program must meet all of the following requirements:

• 18 years of age or older;
• High school diploma or its academic equivalent;
• Vietnamese proficiency; English reading proficiency is highly recommended;
• Member in good standing at an evangelical Church.

Graduation Requirements
The Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree will be granted to the student who has satisfactorily completed at least 126 units as follows:

• 84 units of Bible and Theology (required)
• 42 units of Bible and Ministry (electives)

In addition, the student must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average. The time limit for the degree is 4 to 8 years, beginning on the date of the student’s first registration for B.C.Min courses at the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School.

Transfer Policy
Students are allowed to transfer up to 30 units of general education studies from state-recognized institutions as electives into the program. In addition, up to 12 units or the first six volumes of TEE (Theological Education by Extension) are transferable to the program as electives.
