DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY (Dip.Th.)

Objective
The purpose of the Diploma in Theology (Dip. Th) program is to equip its graduates with a basic knowledge of Bible, Theology and Ministry so that they are able to serve the Lord effectively as pastors in local Churches

Admission Requirements
All applicants who want to enroll in the Diploma in Theology program must meet all of the following requirements:

• 18 years of age or older;
• A high schooler (grades 9-12), but not having a high school diploma (the School offers programs for applicants who have the baccalaureate degree);
• Vietnamese/English proficiency;
• Member in good standing at an evangelical Church.

Graduation Requirements
The Diploma in Theology will be granted to the student who has satisfactorily completed at least 96 units as follows:

• 66 units of Bible, Theology, and Ministry (requirements)
• 30 units of Bible and Ministry (electives)

In addition, the student must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average. The time limit for the diploma is 3 to 6 years, beginning on the date of the student’s first registration for Dip. Th. courses at the Alliance Evangelical Divinity School.

Due to the practical nature of the program, the student is required to engage in ministry (internship) at a local Church during the program.

Transfer Policy
Students are allowed to transfer up to 12 units for the first six volumes of Theological Education by Extension (TEE) to the program as electives.
