WITHDRAWAL FROM COURSE
Students may withdraw from a course through the tenth week of classes with approval from the Faculty member and Department Chair. Forms are available from the Registrar’s Office. Such students must continue to attend class until they receive official notification that the request has been approved. The course from which a student withdraws will receive a “WP” (withdrew with passing), a “WF” (withdrew with failing) or a “WA” (withdrew from audit course). Any student who unofficially withdraws from a course due to excessive absences will receive an “F”. It is recommended that students meet with the Registrar’s Office prior to course withdrawal.
WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL
Students are considered “students on record” until they complete all withdrawal procedures or are notified that by default they have withdrawn by themselves. All pertinent school regulations are binding until withdrawal procedures have been completed or notification has been received by the school of withdrawal by default. A withdrawal will be not official nor will refund be given until withdrawal form is properly signed and returned to the Registrar’s Office.
Upon proper withdrawal from the School, the student’s academic record will show a “W”. Failure to complete the necessary withdrawal procedures results in a final grade of “F” for all courses. It is recommended that students meet with the Registrar’s Office prior to school withdrawal.
